Popweb is an Internet resource for information on the identification
of plants and pollen, the present and past distribution of these
plants and the ecosytems they are part of.
To find information on a particular plant, either enter its common
or its scientific name into the Popweb
search. Alternatively, you can browse through the
Index of species
to find what you are looking for.
If you would like more information on a particular topic, try the
section where you will find links to other resources both on The
Internet and in print.
Popweb incorporates some tools, such as the Glossary,
to help you as you learn about plants and pollen. The glossary
is designed to be used in conjuction with the text so pops-up in
a new browser window to allow you to refer to it as you read. If
you click the glossary link and nothing happens, it is likely that
the glossary is already open behind your current browser window.
To find it, simply look at your taskbar or minimise the active window.
The same applies for anything that Popweb opens in a new window,
such as pictures or the search facility.
