Home, work and migration in the East End of London since 1945
Applications are invited for these three-year AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Awards commencing on 1 October 2012. These are two of four CDAs at the Centre for Studies of Home on the research programme ‘Home-work: connections and transitions in London from the 17th century to the present,’ all of which will start on 1 October 2012. The other two studentships are on ‘Domestic servants and domestic space in London c.1650–1820’ and ‘Domestic labour, metropolitan households and the wider world, 1850–1914. These studentships have been advertised separately.
These PhD studentships are being readvertised to broaden and strengthen the field of potential applicants. The revised closing date is 4pm Wednesday 1 August 2012. Interviews will be held on Monday 13 August 2012 (Home, work and migration) and Monday 20 August 2012 (Men juggling work, home and family). Please click the links above for further information.
